Postdoctoral Position in “Innovative electrodes for advanced sodium-ion batteries”

A two-year postdoctoral position is available in the group of Prof. José Luis Tirado at the Department of Inorganic Chemistry of Córdoba University (UCO). The selected candidate will participate in a research project funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and the European Union “NextGenerationEU”/PRTR, entitled “Innovative electrodes and electrolytes for a new generation of sodium-based batteries for stationary applications (NABASTAT)” coordinated by UCO with the academic partnership of Alicante University and industrial partnership of POWER ELECTRONIC (Valencia). The selected candidate will contribute to the development of the work plan by carrying out research tasks, co-supervising the research work of Ph.D. students, and writing reports, scientific papers, and patents. The candidate will focus on the development of novel electrode materials for high-performance Na-ion batteries, including oxide cathodes and carbon anodes.
