A postdoctoral contract is available at the IIQ, Instituto de Investigaciones Químicas (CSIC-University of Seville). The position is within the framework of a national project (TED2021-132087A) that proposes a novel approach to perform catalytic reactions based on induction heating. The project ‘Magnetically Induced Catalysis’ will be focused on the design and synthesis of new magnetic catalysts, which can be heated by an oscillating magnetic field. The candidate will be involved in the synthesis and full characterization of the magnetic catalysts, based on supported/encapsulated metal nanoparticles. In addition, the candidate will evaluate their catalytic activity in different catalytic processes using an oscillating magnetic field as heat source.
