The Physics and Engineering of Nanodevices (PEN) group (Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, ICN2) is seeking to appoint a creative and motivated experimental postdoctoral researcher to participate in an ongoing project on hybrid photon-phonon-magnon systems. The position is partially funded by the European Commission within the PALANTIRI consortium, which involves leading European experimental and theoretical groups addressing magnon interactions and magnon dynamics in optical, acoustic, and microwave cavities for (coherent) transfer of information between microwave and optical photons. The appointed candidate will be responsible for the design and characterization of superconducting microwave resonators and the coupling between magnons and (microwave) photons.
