The 2nd Intentional Conference on Sustainable Chemistry for Net Zero (ICSC-NZ), will be held in Zaragoza (Spain) from September 6th-9th 2027. This is the second edition of this conference and follows on from the inaugural edition in 2025 (St. Andrews, Scotland), which gathered researchers and stakeholders interested in the role of chemistry in sustainability on a global level.
Inspired by the Stockholm Declaration on Chemistry for the Future, we recognize the breadth of important topics it encompasses. Therefore, they have identified several key challenges to address in this edition of the conference, including i) Clean Energy Solutions, ii) Plastic bio-design and recycling, iii) Fluorinated replacements, iv) Green synthesis and v) CO2 capture chemistry.
