ERC-funded Postdoctoral Position in Microfluidics for the Assembly of Polymersomes for Artificial Photosynthesis

The Casadevall Lab at Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) / ICIQ in Tarragona, Spain, is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher in Photochemistry within the ERC Starting Grant BIOPOLE. The project aims to uncover the mechanistic photochemistry of functionalized photocatalytic polymersomes for artificial photosynthesis, with particular emphasis on interfacial charge transfer and compartmentalized photocatalysis. They are interested in candidates with strong expertise in photochemistry and mechanistic spectroscopy, including transient absorption spectroscopy (TAS), excited-state and charge-transfer dynamics, Stern–Volmer analysis, quenching and electron-transfer kinetics. Experience in photocatalysis and molecular coordination chemistry will also be highly valued. The position is fully funded for two years.
