Postdoctoral Position in Synthetic Organic Chemistry

The CATIA research group at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid offers a postdoctoral position of 3 years to work in areas related to total synthesis and development of new catalytic methods with applications to the synthesis of new therapeutic agents against Alzheimer’s disease. The project is funded under the ‘Ayudas a programas de actividades de I+D en Salud 2025’ program (reference SYNREPAIR-AD-CM). The candidate will be in charge of proposing retrosynthetic analysis for the targeted compounds, and their potential application at the laboratory scale. This includes the synthesis of starting materials, optimization of catalytic methodologies and analysis of chemical compounds using standard analytical methods, as well as literature search in the field.
