2025-2026
The Master / Advanced Materials is organized by Universitat de València, Universidad de Alicante, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Universitat de Barcelona, Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, Universidad de Málaga, Universitat Politècnica de València, Universidad de Santiago de Compostela and Universidad de Zaragoza. The focus of the master’s degree is at the intersection between physics, chemistry, biology/medicine and engineering, making it truly interdisciplinary.
The Master responds to the academic and research profile and provides a multidisciplinary training in the fundamental and applied aspects of Materials Science, with special emphasis on areas of growing interest such as 2D materials, energy (e.g. energy storage, green hydrogen generation, photovoltaics, electrocatalysis, photocatalysis), environment (e.g. membranes for separation/removal of toxins, CO2 capture and valorisation), information technologies (including quantum technologies), advanced electronics (e.g. advanced materials for microelectronics, photonics, opto-electronics, spintronics), and health (e.g. smart materials for drug delivery, contrast agents, theragnostic agents), among others.
